Thank you for checking out my request letter! I hope some of the ships here speak to you! Any of the likes are purely optional, please don't feel like you need to cram every one into one work, especially if you're unfamiliar with the fandom!

General Likes

Here are the ships listed in order of interest (though I will be ecstatic to receive something for any one of these ships! The number of times I've re-ordered this list lol...). Many of these relationships only appeared in a single episode or film available to watch on Youtube, and when this is the case, I will link to it!

   Sonic the Hedgehog/Zelda (Legend of Zelda) (Super Smash Brothers/Sonic and LoZ crossover)

   
   



I only recently learned that the "Zeldas" in each game are different people, and I am happy to see Sonic with any Zelda! If you are unfamiliar with Zelda, BotW may be the easiest to write, as she's had the most fleshed-out characterization and dialogue out of all the Zeldas. You don't even need to know that much about the characters! Sonic is a quick-witted speedster who’s loyal to his friends and always rushing into adventure, and Zelda is a thoughtful, wise princess with a strong sense of duty and can be more adventurous than people give her credit for. I think that contrast is something fun to play with.

• Not canon compliant/AU
  
• Long-distance relationship, if this is a crossover between their two worlds
  
• One introducing the other to something they have never seen or experienced in their world — such as how Sonic introduces Zelda to the Pocky game in my comic!
  
• Sonic falling for Zelda first (and trying to hide it)
  
• Zelda being confused about his crush on her at first (perhaps owing to the species difference), but starting to love him back gradually
  
• Friends to lovers (or rivals to lovers, if Zelda finds him annoying at first)

Prompts?



• If BotW Zelda, maybe she geeks out about his alien physiology, and how he can perform feats like running without exhaustion, spindashing, etc. Maybe he lets her study him (begrudgingly or finding it humorous?), and he's unexpectedly flustered by the attention.
  
• Height difference stuff (especially for fanart, like Sonic standing on things or Zelda kneeling or lifting him so they can kiss)
  
• Sonmething with Zelda's ALTTP design, whether the formal wear or informal wear. She wears a golden ring bracelet on one of these outfits. Maybe Sonic notices it, and there's a cute moment out of it?
  
• (SFW hand kink) Zelda sees Sonic without his gloves on, and sees that he's embarrassed about it. Before he can put them back on, she holds his hands and either starts having a scientific fascination about it (BoTW Zelda), and/or thinking that he wants reassurance that his hands don't look weird, and tells him that his hands look cute. Sonic is extremely flustered by this, and tries desperately to stay composed. I think Sonic's hands would be mostly like human hands, but with some fur/pads, like this or this

• Smash tournaments being portrayed as a bloodbath Hunger games kind of thing.
  
• Please no framing Zelda as a prize Sonic wins by being 'better than' Link, or cuckold/cheating tropes.
  
• Killing off or injuring another character to spur the relationship on (e.g., Link being killed, and Zelda runs to Sonic for comfort)
  
• Sonic as the "King of Hyrule". Not opposed to a long-term relationship, or even kids, but I feel like Zelda alone would rule, with Sonic being a long-distance parent as he saves his own world.

I will be happy with anything for this ship I'm starving please — ! Miku is a vocal database with no established characterization from what I can tell, but I like to imagine her as a friendly robot who has gradually gained saphience.
Likes



• I love the idea of Miku being a robot! But not totally necessary!
  
• Hatsumi Sega as their child. I don't care which is responsible for raising her, if she magically mpregged into existence, if she was designed in a lab, if she fell out of the sky or what, but I want this to happen so badly.
  
• Sonic being confused about his feelings, especially if he learns she's a robot
  
• Ear pets, if established relationship. Here's a fanart I like that does this
  
• Them meeting during Sonic Racing Crossworlds. The game's not out yet, so I don't care about accuracy to the "canon" of the game.

   Breezie the Hedgehog/Sonic the Hedgehog (Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog)

   
   




They only appeared as a semi-mutual thing in one episode, Lovesick Sonic. I will warn that it starts off manipulative on Breezie's end, as she was created to keep Sonic occupied as the villain enacted his plot. I love that Sonic showed her that love is more than a transaction of items. I love the forbidden romance angle this has should it have continued, as she's a robot created by his worst enemy! Canonically, Sonic loses interest in her shortly after learning she's a robot, and helps her find a robotic boyfriend in a later episode, and I do not want this referenced in any way in the fill.

They only appeared together in one episode, Sea Change, also Alana's only appearance. This was arguably Seaspray's biggest episode as well. I love how Alana can see past appearances not only when it comes to diplomacy, but also romance, and I love how much of an awkward sweetheart Seaspray is around her.

• Post-canon
  
• Long-distance relationship. Seaspray must travel from Earth or Cybertron to visit her planet, and that makes the time they do have together very special
  
• I like when it shows that their different forms don't get in the way of them showing their love. Them hanging out with Seaspray staying in his robot mode, and Alana in her human form for a decent chunk of things.
  
• On a toy made of Seaspray, he has a bumper sticker/tattoo of Alana's name on his arm! It might be cute if this was referenced!

   Nerys Truydd/Diane McKinnon (The Price is Your Everything)

   
   








Not a canon couple sadly, but they are so sweet! In the webtoon, Nerys was reincarnated after being murdered and betrayed. She's consumed by a desire for revenge against everyone who wronged her. But Diane is someone she had never met before in her past life. Nerys is a serious and competent character, but clearly starved for any real love. Because Diane doesn't get anything out of being kind to her, I love the idea of Nerys feeling a little less cynical/consumed by her desire for revenge when she's around her. Diane is a QUEEN who sticks up for Nerys! The series is free to read on the Webtoon site!

   Molly/Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic X)

   
   

Their only appearance was in the episode, a Revolutionary Tale. I find Molly an interesting character, tragic how she was betrayed by her own people, and died pointlessly as she tried to sacrifice herself to eliminate the Metarex. This is the thing that spurs Shadow on to fight the Metarex, so it isn't entirely in vain.

• In the episode, Molly noted how she reminded him of the hero of legend, Black Wind. I find the idea of an AU where Shadow was Black Wind in a past life, and Molly having some kind of connection with him, fascinating! Bonus points if the love is forbidden!

• Nothing where Molly comes back to life, or was never dead. I prefer for her death to have meant something (she dies in the Japanese version)

   Amy Rose/Swifty the Shrew (Sonic Boom)

   
   


True to form, Swifty only appears in one episode, Blue with Envy. They're never in a committed relationship; Amy just has a crush on Swifty. Swifty was a robot created by the show's villain to "replace" Sonic as town hero and wound his ego. Amy falling for Swifty was more of a happy accident. My idea for the ship post-episode is for one of the 'Swifties' were to be revived somehow. A common theme in Sonic is Amy trying to reform or befriend villainous robots, and I like when that's extended to romance! Because Swifty is actually multiple robots, I like the idea of him having had a hive mind with his other copies, and then when he's revived, he's angry over having lost them. It's harder to be annoyingly overconfident when you don't have several copies agreeing with you.



• Specifically, Amy with ONE of the "Swifties"! Not a whole harem!


• Robot Feels!
  
• Swifty having had a Borg-like hive mind with his copies, and lost it
  
• Swifty thinking he's better than Sonic, (like any decent knock-off of him does!)
  
• Boom Amy being Boom Amy (trying to help him bring out his best, while still being stern when needed)

• For fanart...something fluffy would be nice! If you watch the episode, then as you draw it, you ask yourself, would this make Sonic combust on the spot if he saw it, that's a fanart well done!

   Sara/Sonic the Hedgehog

   
   




Sara's only appearance is in Sonic OVA (1996). Sonic's feelings for her were ambiguous in the film, but I like the idea of slight tsundere on Sonic's end. If it's established, maybe he still likes to tease her a little.

• Sara being a bit spoiled/bratty, but still trying to be nice to Sonic
  
• Because she's spoiled by her father, I imagine she has a large video game collection, and Sara invites Sonic over for video games (preferably on 90's consoles, as the film was released in the 90's)
